Terminal will open 4 windows with different colors, which can be useful for identifying different tasks. The settings include modified key mappings so that it is possible, amongst other things, to use the 'delete' key, to jump between words by combining the 'alt' key with the left/right arrow keys, and to jump to the beginning or the end of the command line by combining the 'ctrl' key with right/left arrow keys.
